Punitive measures against Dr. Ferrer, director of Health and Human Rights Center in Cuba.

Some week ago, the people of a Havana neighborhood, Santo Suarez, had shouted “Down with Fidel” slogans and threw pieces of stones at the police for delaying in rescuing the neighborhood flooded after intense rains.

Well, now the regime is claiming that the people were “incited by well-known counter-revolutionaries”, in reference to freedom fighters, among which is Dr. Darsi Ferrer.

Now they threaten to “take punitive measures” against him and other peaceful opponents. In reality, and being the Castroite lies well known, that protest by the population was spontaneous and due to a growing discontent by a population who suffers since 47 years of promises turned into daily misery.
